Eddie Cibrian American Actor


Eddie Bryant Cibrian (born June 18, 1973) is an American actor. He is best known for his roles as Russell Varon in Invasion and Jimmy Doherty on Third Watch.

Biography

Personal life
Cibrian was born in Burbank, California and is of Cuban descent. His grandmother was from Cuba. He is an only child. Cibrian married Brandi Glanville in May 2001. His son, Mason Edward, was born in June 2003, and a second son, Jake Austin, was born on April 5, 2007. He maintains a close friendship with his former Young and the Restless co-star, Joshua Morrow, and even formed a singing group with him called 3 Deep.


Career

Cibrian has starred in The Young and the Restless, Baywatch Nights, Sunset Beach as leading man Cole Deschanel, Third Watch as womanizing New York City firefighter Jimmy Doherty, Tilt as rising poker star Eddie Towne, and Invasion as Everglades park ranger Russell Varon. He has also guest-starred in Saved By The Bell, Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, Criminal Minds and Beverly Hills, 90210. His movie credits include Living Out Loud, But I'm a Cheerleader and The Cave.

Cibrian was named one of People magazine's 100 most Beautiful People in 2006. In 2006, Cibrian was voted No. 2 on the Sexiest Soap Hunks of All Time list at the Shrine to the Soap Hunks.



Cibrian joined the cast of the FOX TV series Vanished mid-way through the season and was named the lead star of the show after the original star Gale Harold left the series following the demise of his character in the series' seventh episode. Cibrian actually starred in the eighth episode, in which top-billed Harold appeared only as a corpse. He attained top billing in the following episode, which was the last to be broadcast before the network announced the show's cancellation. The remaining episodes were made available on streaming video at Myspace.com.

Cibrian was cast as Jason Austin in the pilot of Football Wives, the ABC re-make of the largely successful British drama Footballers Wives.

Cibrian played Kevin in Samantha Who?, and Sebastian Fleet in Dirty Sexy Money. He appeared in Jennifer Love Hewitt's "Couldn't Find Another Man" music video. Cibrian also played Coach Diaz in Ugly Betty.

Upcoming Series

Washington Field is a CBS 2009 television pilot from Executive Producer Edward Allen Bernero, Jim Clemente and Tim Clemente as Head Writers. The show follows the National Capital Response Squad, a unit of the FBI comprised of elite experts in different areas who travel around the world, responding to events that concern American interest. Cibrian's co-stars include Cole Hauser, Gina Torres, Teri Polo, and Matthew Yang King.
